He has won numerous awards, and in 1986 became one of only four Americans to be honored by a one-man exhibition at the Louvre in Paris. I am keeping this calendar because it's large and has gorgeous photography of Chihuly's work. I mistakenly ordered a 2018 calendar for 2019, which was my own fault since it's very clearly marked. If you ask me, they shouldn't sell outdated calendars on Amazon but I suppose some people may want them just for the artwork or to complete a collection (?) - strange, but plausible.Rather than return a low priced item like this, I went through and marked all the days correctly. I would totally buy the same calendar for the correct year though...great quality and nice large spaces to write on. At least now I know why it was cheaply priced!
